We have bought furniture from this store for over 18 yrs. In fact most all of our furniture, LR.DR, Kitchen, BR come from this store. Sales people have always been very friendly (down home) very honest and helpful. No pressure is ever felt. The salesperson in recent years has been Bill, who is very good at what he does and very friendly, easy to talk with. Our experience is that the sales people stay for years and there is not a fast "turnover" There is a huge choice in furniture, its a fun place to shop. Also the manger, is the best I've ever come across in my 45 years of shopping/buying. Russ is a hands on manager. He is always available, a good listener, he is honest, fair and very friendly (neighborly) yet is a polished "he knows what he is doing" business man. The people that work here make this a place where you want to stay for lunch and visit or invite them for dinner.
After countless hours spent researching places to go, (comparing prices, brands, styles, etc for what would be our first big purchase together) my boyfriend and I made one more attempt and visited the North Branch location of The Furniture Mart together. Upon entry we were welcomed by Don, an associate who was extremely pleasant to work with on finding what was just right for us... He was honest and informative; listening to us rather than being pushy or rushing us into something. He gave us just the right amount of space yet proved to have ample patience when I became indecisive. Mike was another associate who was fun, friendly, and helpful. By the time we were done wrapping up our purchase, we were smiling, laughing, and felt confidant we'd made the right decision with not only the items we chose but the place we brought our business as well. I'm taking the time to write a detailed review because of how happy I am with the experience overall, so I'd definitely recommend shopping here and ask for Don!!!
The staff at this store provides amazing service!! I have shopped here twice now. Several months ago, I needed a mattress for my daughter and Mike was helpful, kind, and respectful of my modest budget. Today, I walked in over my lunch break, I was hoping to look at a couch I had seen advertised. I was shown right to the item I was looking for, and it turned out to be perfect. My salesman, Don, completed the paperwork, arranged for the delivery and explained my warranty in plenty of time for me to get back to work before my break was over. I am so happy with my purchase, and as always, happy for the kind service I receive at the North Branch Furniture Mart!

Donald Farnsworth was amazing he greeted us at the door and he never left our side. Even with 4 kids present he was very kind and helpful and I was frustrated with my kids and he said we LOVE KIDS!!!! I really enjoyed my shopping experience with this sales guy. We stopped on our way home from the cities to look for some rec room furniture. Tammy helped us, and for only being there for a few weeks was able to answer almost every question that we had and was very helpful in our selection. We appreciate her knowledge and no pressure sales approach. We can't wait to get our new furniture delivered!
