We've made purchases several times now and have been very satisfied. Great jewelry and friendly staff.
I went and bought a very nice necklace and there was a pair of earrings, the very helpful lady told me she could keep the earrings aside for me. Later down the road she called asked if I still was interested and I said yes and I would be in on that Friday when she called. She told me to ask for her by name. I showed up Friday like I told her I would and she tells me they sold them that Thursday. Never will go back and will never tell one person to go to this location. Sad way to do business. If I did that at my business to my customers wanting to spend hundreds of dollars I would be out of a business by now and not able to afford to go zales. GO TO THE CITIES FOR UR STUFF NOT HERE!!!
So, the moral of this story is......If you want quality jewelry that will last, DO NOT SHOP HERE! They sell low quality, extremely over-priced jewelry. The don't even deserve one star, but in order to post this, I had to give them one star!
Beautiful jewelry, very poor quality. I've bought 2 different diamond rings, stones keep falling out. Make sure to buy the protection plan!!
So, the story doesn't end here....but to make this already long story as short as possible......we ended up taking this bracelet into the store 6 times within 4 years to get fixed because it kept breaking. Finally, the manager of the store said that they could no longer repair the bracelet due to the integrity of the metals. So, they said that they would give us half price of what my husband originally paid towards another bracelet! Since the bracelet was junk from the beginning and with enough complaining...they agreed to give us about 75% of the purchase price, but of course it had to be redeemed with in-store-credit. I asked if they would just give us our money back because I didn't want to buy anymore of their junk, but of course they said they can only give us in-store credit, so we were forced to buy something else from them. Reluctantly, I started looking for another bracelet since this one had so much sentimental value, but since 4 years had passed since the original bracelet was purchased....all their bracelets were even MORE expensive than what we originally over-paid for the first one and the last thing I wanted to do was to spend MORE money at this store!! But since everything is so over-priced there, we couldn't find anything half way descent without spending even more money, so we settled on a very pretty, 3-stone diamond ring which costs us an additional $550.00 out of our own pocket. So, now we paid $1850.00 for this diamond ring plus an additional $100.00 for the insurance plan and guess what just happened yesterday?? Yep, you guessed it.....the middle diamond fell out!! The ring isn't even a year old. Thank the good Lord that I found the puny diamond on a rug in my kitchen because my husband just took the ring to the store this morning and the clerk told him that if we hadn't found the diamond, that we would have had to pay for it to be replaced because the insurance that we have on the ring is only valid if you come in every 6 months to have the ring inspected! Maybe if they sold quality jewelry, it wouldn't need to be inspected every 6 months!! I am so incredibly frustrated, I could spit nails (not diamonds!!)
Boyfriend paid for my ring to be there on march 13th it was a day late... And they didn't even put it in a box or anything he said the only positive was the lady who helped him was super nice otherwise he will never return of use zales again
So, the night before our wedding, my husband-to-be surprised me with a beautiful diamond bracelet that he purchased at ZALES in Tanger Outlet, North Branch, MN. I didn't even have the bracelet 6 months and the clasp broke and the bracelet fell off my wrist in my parking lot at work. Thankfully, I felt it slip off my wrist and onto the ground, otherwise it would have been lost and most likely not returned! We took the bracelet back to the store to have it repaired. They sent it out for repair and about 3 weeks later, I got a call telling me it was back at the store and that I could come and get it. Well, when I got to the store, the clerk took it out of the bag that it was in and was going to put it on my wrist but she couldn't open the clasp because when they fixed the clasp, they made it so tight, we couldn't open it! So......we sent it back again! Another 3 weeks go by and I finally get it back again. This time it was much better. I went home with my bracelet and was happy to have it on my wrist again, for about a week.....when the clasp broke again! Frustrated, I went back to the store and showed them that the clasp had broke again and once again....they sent it out for repair! This time I had to bring the receipt in with me and when I saw that my husband paid almost $1700.00 (normally $2200.00) for this bracelet, I about fell off my chair. $1700.00 for something that was such low quality made me extremely annoyed so I started comparing prices of other bracelets of similar size and carat weight and discovered that ZALES jewelry is extremely higher than every other jewelry store!
